Kenyans on Twitter React to Wainaina, Kavinga and Aukot on their Participation in the Presidential Debate

Kenyans on social media were full of praise for the presidential candidates who turned up for the first phase of the presidential debate.

Out of the six candidates who were expected, only three showed up for the debate at the main auditorium at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).

Kenyans on Twitter commended presidential candidates Dr Japheth Kavinga Kaluyu, Prof Michael Wainaina and Dr. Ekuru Aukot for their quality debate, firm grasp of issues affecting Kenyans coupled with intellectual prowess on display.

Cyrus Jirongo of United Democratic Party (UDP), Abduba Diba (Alliance for Real Change) and former cabinet minister Joe Nyaga failed to show up for the debate.

if the next president doesn’t come out of this three, i don’t know where we are heading to.

Why don’t we get a candidate from the three my fellow Kenyans?

Why are these guys not our President Deputy and leader of majority?
Intellectuals who are articulate and coherent
Yes we can!

this guys should join to form a coalition, great thinkers

Debate feels fresh, where issues are debated why do we vote in garbage for leaders?
