Kalonzo turns down President Kenyatta’s offer

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has turned down President Uhuru Kenyatta’s offer to join Jubilee and work with him.

In a press statement, Kalonzo lashed out at Kenyatta for claiming that he had nothing to offer ukambani residents.

The former vice president stated that he could not join a losing team adding that the President’s offer was a sign of panic.

“It is comical for Uhuru and Ruto to ask me to join them as they march towards Opposition trenches, for that is surely where they will be after NASA takes over power.

“Such utterances reflect the state of panic and utter desperation on the part of the President and DP,” Kalonzo affirmed.

During the president’s tour of Ukambani, Kenyatta urged Kalonzo to stop being misled by NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga and join them.

The president, who was accompanied by his deputy William Ruto, wooed the wiper leader on grounds they could work with DP Ruto in 2022.

“I urge my brother Kalonzo Musyoka not to be misled by Raila Odinga. Come and work with us. When I leave office, you can work with William Ruto and move this country forward,” the Head of State said.
