DP Ruto gets fierce reception for the second day in Western voter registration drive

Deputy President William Ruto was for the second day heckled during a mass voter registration drive in Western Kenya. Ruto was in Trans-Nzoia when he, alongside other Jubilee officials were embarrassed by a group of rowdy youth who chanted opposition slogans. Trans Nzoia woman representative Janet Nangabo and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen were shouted down. The two, who were with the DP, were told off by angry residents after they tried to attack opposition leaders in the quest to rally more people to register before February 14.
