The Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA) UoN Chapter has made a formal agreement with the research firm IPSOS. YALDA members will participate in research activities within the country, with its major focus being on the issues facing the youth.
Confirming the partnership, the group’s Executive Director, Quinter Akeyel indicated that the agenda of the partnership is to foster inclusivity of the youth in governance and development issues in society.
This was a long-awaited agreement that every UoN student should be happy about. We worked really hard in ensuring the opportunity is granted, and I am happy that it is done. We encourage more students to join our group to enjoy the foreseeable benefits. We will do it the YALDA way. – Quinter Akeyel.
The deal was championed by John Paul (YALDA Ex-officio board member), Sophie Kerubo (Research Director), Corazon Sharon and the entire executive board. YALDA was launched back in early 2014 to address to address youth issues.
